We can't wait to read from you! The Urega Scholarship Program application has been designed to focus on you! Our program is unique as our focus is not on selecting the students with the highest IQ but rather the most extraordinary, those who excel with empathy and humility and have gone through significant challenges to pursue their education.
Urega Scholars have the following qualities amongst others:
We practice a Holistic Review Process, which means that everything you share with us has equal weight in our selection decision. No element in your application, such as your grades, class rank, or essay, is more important than the others in our review process. We want to get to know you and determine how/if we can help.
Application Requirements
To be considered for the scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
Be in Form 4, Form 5, or Lower Sixth at the time of application.
Be younger than 21 years of age.
Show true dedication to your education through academic performance!
Respond to an essay prompt (click here to read our requirements).
Provide the contact details of a recommender; she/he can be an academic or a community member.
Successfully submit the completed scholarship application before the deadline.
